Volunteer Instructions

Thanks so much for volunteering your time. Festival couldn’t happen without everyone pitching in!

Sign in at the info booth 10 minutes before your shift to provide a smooth transition for volunteers. Remember, parking can be a challenge on Festival weekend.

What are my responsibilities?

• Find your job description  for details on how to run your booth including ticket cost/prize specifics.

Wristband/Ticket Management Details

Each activity has its own “cost” and “prize”. Check the job description for each game for details.

• Wristbands used as play tickets on games except Cake Walk, Wine Toss, Salami Toss, Big Splash and Haunted Garden
• 2 types of tickets:
  • Play tickets (yellow) are “money” used to play games, buy sugar shack items and buy drinks.
  • Win tickets (green) are earned when playing games and can only be used to redeem for prizes at the prize booth.

Collect play tickets in your red bags and don't leave tickets unattended. 

• During the festival info booth staff will check in to see if you need more win tickets.
• Please pass tickets off to the next volunteer. First shift and last shift, pick up/drop off win tickets at the Info booth.  

Please stay until your replacement arrives, no need to check out.
